Since the start of the season, the grass runway has been unserviceable, according to the glider pilots. The most serious issue is the inappropriate material—construction debris laced with shards, per the glider pilots. The glider pilots now haul their gliders and equipment to Grünstadt every weekend just to be able to fly a little. A pity—very, very sad for Wormser Flugplatz. Many thanks, of course, to Grünstadt :-)
