Civil Airfield Bergamo / Orio Al Serio (LIME)

IFR and VFR operations are possible at Bergamo (LIME), with handling mandatory for most GA flights. IFR arrivals and departures often involve high initial altitudes and steep descents due to surrounding terrain; STARs and SIDs can be complex, requiring careful preparation and prompt reprogramming of arrivals or transitions as instructed by ATC. Fees for non-commercial GA are generally in the medium to higher range compared to other Italian airports.
