Handling and slots are mandatory for GA at EPWA, with handling provided by companies such as Excel, Welcome AS, and LSAS. Handling is compulsory for all arrivals. The airport features a dedicated GA terminal and parking on Apron 1 at the north end, next to the A0 exit for Runway 15. Operations are described as efficient and professional, with a straightforward process for both VFR and IFR flights. The airport is close to central Warsaw, with taxis readily available; a taxi ride to the city centre takes about 20 minutes and costs up to €20.
Fee structures are relatively high compared to other airports in the region. Charges typically include separate fees for landing, handling, and each departing passenger. Example: landing about €60, handling about €90, and each departing passenger about €60. Total charges can vary significantly depending on the number of passengers; single-night stays have been quoted at around €400–€600 in some cases. GA traffic is generally discouraged in favour of using Modlin airport.
