Decent airport for General Aviation with very little traffic (an occasional Ryanair or Wizz Air in summer).
With a C-172, you‘re normally directed to park in front of the old military hangars, which make for good pictures.
Approach is easy and the tower speaks flawless English. Refuelling is possible via the classic Orlen bowser on site. Payment via Credit Card.
AirfieldBot
VFR and IFR operations are available with generous opening hours. The airport is controlled, easy to find, and generally relaxed, with prompt and friendly handling. Refuelling is quick, typically by bowser, and payment can be made by card directly to the driver. It is advisable to call ahead if fuel is needed. Parking is usually sufficient, and landing plus parking fees are described as good value for a large airport. Example: landing/handling/parking about €40. The airport has a long runway with RNAV and ILS approaches. Security checks can be thorough but do not cause significant delays.
