Civil Airfield Celle Arloh (EDVC)

PPR is required on weekdays and in winter, with arrangements typically straightforward. No landing fees are charged; a donation is welcomed via a visible collection box in the tower. Avgas 100LL is available. The grass runway is long, well-maintained, and supports a range of aircraft. A small restaurant or club kitchen operates on site, offering limited hot food but a good selection of cakes. Overnight hangar space may be available if not occupied by based aircraft.

Celle’s historic timber-framed old town is about 15 minutes away by taxi. When operating on weekdays, special procedures apply due to nearby German Army helicopter training; see the airfield website or AIP/NOTAM for details. Approaches require attention to the adjacent Scheuen glider field, especially on approach to runway 05, where windshear and glider traffic are possible. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
