Pilot Comments for EDTP
Chris
I landed at Pfullendorf in April 2025 in a Tecnam P2008. Overall, a pleasant aerodrome with a well-maintained runway and friendly AFIS. Note: the restaurant will not reopen until 01 May 2025. In the meantime, you can use the restroom in the hangar.

Well-maintained grass runway with some slope toward runway 01 and reinforced with plastic grid, offering good landing and takeoff characteristics. Circuit is large due to noise abatement. PPR by phone is required and handled without complications. Airfield operates as a Verkehrslandeplatz with mandatory operations on weekends. Avgas and SuperPlus fuel are available, but card payment for fuel is not possible; cash is required, and assistance to a local ATM may be offered if needed. Aircraft can be parked overnight near the club building.
The on-field restaurant is closed until 1 May 2025; in the meantime, toilets in the hangar are accessible. The restaurant is described as simple but tasty, with coffee available, and features a terrace in the shade. For two landings, two nights, and PPR together, fees total about €25. Example: landing fee about €10.
Approach is straightforward but requires caution for low-powered aircraft due to grass surface, possible heat, uphill slope, and trees at the end of the runway. Operations are not permitted between 12:30 and 14:00. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though isolated reports mention less welcoming service. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
