Very positive overall experience last week in a P28R. Field is nicely located close to Bad Berleburg. Well-maintained runway with a slight gradient in parts. Many wind turbines in the vicinity, some currently under construction. Unattended operations possible; PPR required. Landing fee not fixed; voluntary donation to the youth fund. RWY 27 threshold currently displaced by about 200 m (TORA/LDA reduced to 690 m) due to construction (see NOTAM). Caution: We had difficulty arranging a taxi from Bad Berleburg back to the field—advance booking is advisable.
