Visited the "Barnstormers BBQ" over the weekend. The influx of so many biplanes and vintage aircraft is certainly not the norm at this pleasant, tranquil grass strip, so this PIREP is not necessarily representative of the usual state of affairs. The club members were all friendly and proactive, working to bring some order to the "Barnstormers." R/T comms were concise and friendly. Overall, a great event at a beautiful airfield; I’ll gladly come back even without a special occasion!
