Update on IFR transit through the UMKK FIR, not about Khrabrovo itself: northern overwater transit still possible without prior permission, however MNM FL100 and from TIGNU - KUNER or further north. A transit closer to the coast will not be accepted without permission. Otherwise everything straightforward.

Khrabrovo (UMKK) serves as the only international airport in the Kaliningrad region and is required for cross-border flights. Fees are high, with a minimum of 108 USD per landing. Processing can take about one hour, though staff are welcoming and helpful. Customs and passport control for international flights are handled in the north part of the airport.
