International Airport Jasna (LZJS) IFR

Privately operated airfield at the foot of the Low Tatras in the Carpathians, open to international arrivals. Runway 26 approach is challenging due to terrain and a short, narrow strip (544 x 15 m); use runway 08 with crosswind or tailwind. All operations are on blind radio. Windsock is on the hangar. Overnight stays possible with advance notice; hangar includes two bedrooms, kitchen, office, and bathroom. A small van and fuel canisters can be arranged. The site is under strict video surveillance, double-fenced to the main road, and alarmed; access to the road requires gate keys. Daytime arrivals permitted; night operations may become available with lighting. Flat landing fee: Example: landing fee about €5, plus extra services. Nearby are a major water park and ski area.
