Civil Airfield Triengen (LSPN)

PPR is required and can be arranged by phone at +41 41 933 38 80. The airfield operates with generous hours: daily from 07:00 local time (Sundays from 09:00) until the end of civil twilight. Blind radio procedures are in use. The asphalt runway is short (main runway 570 m), with some reports noting it feels even shorter due to its narrowness; circuit procedures are described as a bit unusual. Between 12:00 and 14:00 local time, only landings are permitted—no departures; on Sundays, circuit flying is not allowed. Go-arounds incur the same fee as a landing.

Landing fees are typically about CHF 20; overnight parking outdoors costs about CHF 20. Payment is possible in cash, by card, or via Twint at the C-office or using an on-site payment machine. Example: landing fee about CHF 20; overnight parking about CHF 20.

A maintenance hangar is available, and toilets are described as very clean. There is a restaurant/bistro offering snacks and drinks, with positive remarks on its terrace and view of airfield operations.

A bus connection to Schöftland or Sursee departs regularly from the village center, about a 10-minute walk from the airfield.

The airfield is suitable for general aviation but requires careful planning due to the short runway and specific operational restrictions. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
