Airport opening hours depend on scheduled flights; advance coordination by email (opc@mostar-airport.ba) 1–2 days before arrival is required to obtain a slot. Slot requests should not be sent too far in advance; confirmation typically arrives promptly when requested close to the intended date. Operating hours can be adjusted on request, but flexibility depends on scheduled traffic. No PPR or special permission is generally needed beyond this slot process.

Landing fees and parking are moderate. Example: landing about €30, parking about €10 per night, handling about €20. Handling is quick and efficient due to the manageable size of the airport. Refueling may be restricted until outbound clearance is confirmed or scheduled flights have departed; expect possible short waits for apron access and fuel.

The airport is situated in a wide valley with rising terrain at both ends, surrounded by mountains up to 7000 ft northwest; approaches require attention to published procedures. There are multiple approach options; review them carefully before arrival. Only taxiways A and C are in use for runway access.

Service is described as friendly and accommodating, with creative tie-down solutions when needed. The city center is accessible by taxi for about €5, with no car rental available at the airport. Mostar offers notable sightseeing opportunities within easy reach of the airfield.
