AirfieldBot
Serristori (LIQQ) offers both grass and asphalt runways, each around 500–650 meters, with an east circuit pattern. The airfield does not require PPR, and radio is typically staffed by a flight instructor; if unattended, self-announced circuits are used. When landing on grass runway 16, roll out to the end and taxi around the asphalt runway as instructed. Parking is on grass between the taxiway and hangars; avoid blocking taxiways due to compact layout.
No landing fees apply, including for fuel stops or overnight stays. Example: landing fee about €0. Avgas and mogas are available on site; fuel service pauses for lunch until 15:00. Over ten hangars accommodate based aircraft, and hangar space may be available on request. Maintenance support is present, including Rotax service.
On-field facilities include a hotel with simple rooms, a large well-maintained pool (free for guests), and a highly rated restaurant offering dinner. Free WiFi is available. Car hire can be arranged through local providers, with delivery to the airfield; example: two days about €100. The train stations for Rome or Florence are within reach by car.
English is spoken by some staff, though Italian is helpful for communication. The environment is described as friendly and welcoming to general aviation pilots. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
