Civil Airfield Udine / Campoformido (LIPD)

Operations are managed by Aeroclub Friulano, which requires advance contact before flights, even though this is not stated in the AIP. The airfield is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and there is a daily lunch break from 12:00 to 15:00 local time when operations are paused. Radio may not always be staffed; pilots use blind calls when necessary. The grass runway is 730 meters long and obstacle-free but may be uneven in places.

Landing and parking fees have increased significantly. Example: landing and 24 hours parking with handling totals about €100. The club charges €25 for handling, and fees are collected by ENAC. No Avgas or Mogas is sold to visitors. Parking is available directly in front of the Aeroclub building.

A café with drinks is available inside the Aeroclub, and a snack bar is located outside. Udine city center is about 4 km away; taxi fare is around €10. Skydiving activity occurs at the airfield. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
