Valbrembo Airport (LILV)

Valbrembo (LILV) offers both grass and 700 m asphalt runways and is located near Bergamo. The airfield is generally open daily except Tuesday, with prior email or phone contact recommended; English is spoken. Hangar parking is available, with overnight hangarage about €30. No landing fees are charged. Avgas availability is unreliable or unavailable for visitors. The airfield has a strong glider presence, and circuit procedures require attention to local airspace: remain below 2000 ft to avoid Milano Class A and under 1500 ft AMSL when arriving from the north or west to stay clear of Bergamo CTR; avoid the southeast sector due to controlled airspace. Valbrembo Radio may not always be reachable. Facilities include a pool; the on-field restaurant has been closed at times. Taxis to Bergamo cost around €20, and there is a short train connection to Milan. Maintenance services are available and have a good reputation.
