Cremona (LILR) operates Tuesday to Sunday and is closed on Mondays. No landing fees are charged. Refueling is straightforward, with both Avgas and Jet available for non-based aircraft; Avgas is available at the airfield. The airfield features a 650 m asphalt runway, open parking, and hangar space if available. A restaurant and bar are present, offering meals and drinks. The atmosphere is described as very friendly and accommodating.
Parachute operations are active on the field; caution is required during approach, especially on weekends. Use the air-air frequency (119.655) and listen for parachutist activity before arrival. The circuit uses a Unicom procedure, with limited ground radio response.
The airfield is located a short distance from Cremona city center, with taxi rides costing about €20. No PPR is required for arrivals. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
