PPR is required and must be arranged through a handling agent; flexibility in changing PPR is possible. Landing, handling, PPR, and parking fees combined can range from about €100 to €230 for several days, but higher totals are possible depending on agent and duration. AVGAS is not available. JET A1 is available from multiple suppliers. Fuel arrangements may require persistence with the handling agent; some agents are more helpful than others.

Overall, LGTS is suitable for non-commercial GA flights seeking an airport of entry in northern Greece, provided that handling and PPR requirements are met and AVGAS is not needed.
