Civil Airfield La Baule Escoublac (LFRE)

The airfield is well organized and suitable for general aviation, with parking for over 20 aircraft and tie-down points available. AFIS operates in both English and French; outside AFIS hours, standard air-to-air procedures apply. IFR departures are efficiently coordinated with Nantes Approach. Fees are low; Example: landing fee about €10. Avgas is consistently available. Facilities include a pub-style restaurant and an E-Bike station on site. Walking distance to the beach or town is approximately 15–20 minutes. Taxis can be scarce, especially in summer, so advance arrangements are advisable. The terminal (GAT) is described as attractive, and staff provide helpful service in English.
