Oloron Herrere Airport (LFCO)

LFCO sits at the foot of the Pyrenees with a grass runway over 1000 meters long in good condition. The airfield is untowered, with no landing fee. Radio frequency is 118.775, and communication is not limited to French. Avgas is available, preferably paid in cash. Local pilots and builders are welcoming and helpful, with hangar space offered. Transport to Oloron (6 km) is possible by bicycle or car from people at the airfield. The runway may be unusable in winter; see AIP for details. A flyover above circuit height is recommended for wind assessment and traffic awareness.
