Today with the UL (472.5 kg) coming from Slovenia, made a brief stop in Pula. The airport sees little scheduled airline traffic, so everything is very relaxed and handled with a streamlined process—Direct to. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Landing fee of €11.88 is more than OK for an airport of this size. I did not request PPR, as all the phone numbers listed on the website were unreachable. Deducting one star for the small uncertainty factor and the lack of coffee in the GAT and the terminal :)

Received PPR after a brief email inquiry, uneventful arrival. Chocks, tie-downs, transport to/from the terminal, through security during the Pentecost rush, fueling (2.70/L), all excellent. LDG, PKG, handling 55€ for 1400 MTOW. OK.
They want to convert a military area into GA parking but apparently face resistance. A pity; Pula is worth a trip / a stop.
Shuttle bus to the bus station 6€/person, taxi a steep 40€ for 7 km. Return 20€ ;-)

Example: landing, parking (one night), and handling about €40–60; one week with parking about €100; four nights about €120. Some reports mention additional per-passenger charges (about €5–15 per person) and security fees. Technical stops for fuel may receive a 50% fee reduction if the airport is not exited.
AVGAS and Jet A1 are available on the apron via fuel truck; payment is typically possible by card at the truck but occasional issues require cash payment in the terminal. Fuel prices fluctuate but are generally competitive for the region. Refuelling is usually quick but can be delayed during busy periods or if the truck is not immediately available.
Rental cars from multiple providers (including Sixt) are readily available at the terminal at reasonable rates when pre-booked. Taxis to Pula city center cost around €20–50 depending on provider; app-based services like Bolt or Cammeo offer lower fares than regular taxis. Shuttle bus service to the main bus station is available for about €6 per person.
Customs and immigration procedures are handled efficiently but can be strict or formal; all arrivals from abroad must clear passport control in the main terminal. For technical stops without leaving the airport, customs clearance may be waived or expedited.
GA parking is separate from commercial traffic with easy access via taxiways; apron expansion work has increased capacity in recent years. The airport operates extended hours suitable for late arrivals or departures.
Strong crosswinds and turbulence may occur on final approach to runway 09 during Bora winds. Circuit procedures may involve being held high on approach before a rapid descent to circuit altitude; VFR clearance should be requested before departure as preferred by local ATC.
