Description: Riverside Cafe is excellent, but very busy on weekends. It has live bands and a great atmosphere. Riverside airport has a lot of training traffic. If you are full-stop, tower will work to get you in. If you are doing pattern work, you may get denied--especially on Friday through Sunday. Be prepared to circle downtown Riverside if tower gets busy. RWY16/34 no longer used for normal traffic. If you are shooting ILS/LOC RWY 9 be ready to circle unless winds favor 9 and there's little traffic in the pattern. Be alert for traffic from and around KRIR (Flabob) to the northeast. Occasional jet traffic as well as CAF aircraft.

Transient Parking: Transient Parking in in front of the Riverside Cafe BETWEEN NextGen and CBU reserved spots. Make sure you look at the ground markings to avoid reserved spots. If in doubt, contact KRAL Ground.

Fuel Location: West side pumps to the west of transient parking. East side pumps in front of CAP Squadron and Riverside Flight Academy off taxiway Echo. You can also call RAS for fueling anywhere on the field.
