Great GA airfield with a spectacular approach.
Winds can be a challenge due to the topography with mountains on the side and cliffs on both ends of the runway. I had 3 different winds reported when I approached. Headwind at the touchdown zone, no wind center runway and crosswind at the far end.
The airport itself is a gem with the terminal from a different century. Not much happening there apart from the occasional island commuter turbo prop, so all in all a very relaxed atmosphere.
The island is brilliant for hiking and wildlife.

PPR by email is required, and a general declaration must be submitted for each arrival and departure before arrival. A flight plan is mandatory for VFR flights. Parking is limited to two GA stands with tie-downs, and parking availability should be checked in advance. Parking fees are described as fair; Example: parking about €130 for five days. The airport does not provide Avgas or any fuel. Staff are described as friendly and helpful. The airport is AFIS-controlled. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
