Civil Airfield Bunge (ESVB)

Bunge (ESVB) is a privately operated airfield on Gotland with two active concrete runways (09/27 and 16/34), each over 600 meters long, with usable grass extensions increasing available length to about 800 meters. The runway surfaces have some worn areas but remain suitable for general aviation use. No fuel is available at the airfield.

Accommodation options include rooms and a holiday apartment in the hangar, as well as a nearby hostel (Vandrarhem). Camping on site is possible. A private car is available for rent at the field, and bicycles can be rented locally. Example: car or bed rental about 150 SEK per day. The airfield features a small private museum with historic military jets and aviation memorabilia, and there is a café and museum village just behind the hangar offering food and coffee.

Ground transport to local attractions such as Fårö (accessible by free ferry every 15 minutes) is facilitated by car or bicycle; notable sites include beaches, rock formations, and the "Blaue Lagune" swimming area. The airfield owner may offer rides to local accommodations.

Radio calls are made blind; responses may occur only after landing. For arrivals from Visby, contacting Visby Tower by phone for a transponder code is advised due to the location within a military restricted area. No landing fees are typically charged.
