IFR is available up to 3,000 ft in TMA C. English radio is on request with 24 hours advance notice, but replies are not guaranteed. Pilots must close flight plans themselves; AIS Breslau (+48 22 574 7780) or Langen (for DFS-filed plans) can assist. No Avgas is available; the previous supplier is no longer present. Avgas can be obtained at EPWT, about 16 NM NNW (+48 56 686 4956). Asphalt parking is available, with blue-marked steel tie-downs on concrete; caution is needed when taxiing to and from concrete parking islands in grass due to stones and depressions that may damage landing gear or fairings.

Landing and two days’ parking cost about €40–€50. Example: landing and two days’ parking about €40. For larger aircraft, landing about €70 plus overnight parking about €70 per night. Payment is made at the tower bar or in the first floor of the main building; finding the payment office may require assistance. English communication on the ground can be limited, though staff are generally helpful.

No Avgas or Jet A1 is reliably available on site; self-service fuel pumps exist but are often out of service or require local assistance, and instructions are only in Polish. Some clubs have their own fuel supplies but access for visitors varies.

A small café/restaurant serves local Polish food and is open during the week. Hotels in Torun’s old town are recommended, with taxi rides to the city center costing around €5–€6 (taxi: +48 691 999 194). Uber also operates for similar fares (approx. PLN 23/€6). The city center can be reached by bicycle in about 15 minutes.

For VFR arrivals, use blind calls in English and always prefix transmissions with the airfield name; air-to-air communication is standard at uncontrolled Polish fields. The circuit pattern runs south along the Vistula River over the stadium; do not cross the river or fly behind the white bridge due to an active firing range. Multiple runways exist: two intersecting concrete runways plus grass strips used by gliders—be aware of glider activity left and right of runways 28/10.

Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM for current runway status and restrictions.

Torun’s old town offers a wide range of accommodation and dining options within easy reach of the airfield, making it a worthwhile destination for general aviation pilots.
