Idyllic grass airfield located by the Telemark Canal, with friendly clubhouse atmosphere. No landing fee. The runway surface is rough and may be challenging for some aircraft. Camping next to the aircraft is possible, and folding bicycles are useful for exploring the area. Lunde town offers a train station with connections to other destinations and has a clean public coin-operated shower by the canal.
