IFR arrival and departure worked flawless. ATC and ground staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. 100LL available at self-service pump with credit card terminal.
Prices:
Landing: 20€
Parking per day: 10€
Mandatory handing: 35€
The mandatory handing is a bit of a nuisance as it includes no mentionable service for light aircraft.
The terminal has bistro which was closed, but also offers drinks and small snacks at a self-service station.
Ground transport is close to non-existent on weekends. The bus goes three times in the morning and three times in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. Best call an UBER to go to Roskilde train station (35€, plus 9€ per person for the train ticket ) or directly to Kopenhagen (70€ when booked in advance).

Great airfield for Copenhagen. About 45 minutes from downtown. The marshaller may even hand you a Copenhagen guide and a city map as a welcome gift. Everything is easy, straightforward, and friendly. AVGAS at the pump is very expensive though: 3.49 Euro / liter.

Last update 2016-07-01: AD staff are very helpful and cheerful. Roskilde APPR and TWR are in the same control tower; the same person works both frequencies when traffic volume is low. On first arrival, you can pre-fill the info sheet from the homepage to speed up processing on site. Metal tie-down rings embedded in the concrete on the apron. Bring your own tie-down ropes. Hangars are private and priced for jets (600€/night). Taxi from the apron to the fuel station while maintaining a listening watch on the TWR frequency. Taxi to Roskilde St approx. 30€, from there trains every 10 to 20 min to Copenhagen for 96 DKK = 13€ per person. Unlock your DriveNow account for Copenhagen in advance as it requires 1 day. No DriveNow cars at the airport, but if you go city–EKRK–city it’s about 75€ (incl. 30 min parking). Bistro at the airport: Mon–Thu 07:30–14:00 LT, Fri 07:30–13:30 LT, Sat/Sun closed. On-field maintenance: DAO, very helpful.
Last update 2016-06-30: The GA airport in Copenhagen. Staff very helpful, assist with technical issues and keep the mood upbeat. In bad weather and with no traffic, IFR Visual Approach with full latitude. In the evening, APPR & TWR are handled by the same controller. For the first visit, fill out the self-report form from the homepage in advance; saves work on site. 999 kg MTOW take-off fees 78,36 DKK = 10,77€; incl. 3 days parking at 56,93 DKK = 7,83€ each => 170,79 DKK = 23,48€; total: 34,25€. Metal tie-down rings in the concrete on the apron; bring your own ropes. Hangar mainly for jets (600€/night). Fuel self-service pump by Shell or Air BP (taxi from the apron with listening watch). Air BP Carnet (AVGAS 1,99€/L). Taxi to Roskilde St approx. 30€; from there a train every 10 to 20 min to Copenhagen for 96 DKK = 13€ per person. Have your DriveNow account for Copenhagen enabled in advance (takes 1 day). City–EKRK–city approx. 70€ (incl. 30 min parking). Bistro at the airport: Mon–Thu 07:30–14:00 LT, Fri 07:30–13:30 LT. On-field maintenance: DAO.

Roskilde (EKRK) is a well-equipped, GA-friendly airport serving as a convenient gateway to Copenhagen. Both VFR and IFR operations are straightforward, with instrument approaches available to all runways and no PPR required for GA. The airport features two intersecting runways, providing flexibility in varying wind conditions. Regular operating hours are 0700–2200 local time, with night operations possible for an extra charge. High-visibility vests are mandatory on the apron.
Self-service fuel is available: Jet A1 (Shell) and Avgas 100LL (Shell) can be paid by credit card or fuel carnet; UL91 is available from BP. A wash area with water hose is located near the fuel station. Maintenance services are present on site (DAO). Parking uses metal tie-down rings set in concrete; bring your own ropes. Hangars are primarily for jets and priced accordingly.
Fees for landing and parking are generally low for Europe. Example: landing plus one night of parking about €20; three days of parking plus one landing about €50; seven days of parking plus landing about €60. Payment is quick and can be handled at the aircraft or in the office.
Ground transport options include taxis to Roskilde train station (typically €30–€40), from which frequent trains reach Copenhagen central station in 25–35 minutes (tickets around €11–€13 per person). Direct taxi to Copenhagen costs around €100–€150. Bus service exists but is infrequent; car hire can be arranged in advance with keys delivered at the airport.
The airport team is consistently described as friendly and helpful, with efficient handling even during busy periods. Bistro opening hours are Monday–Thursday 07:30–14:00, Friday 07:30–13:30, closed weekends. Procedures require avoiding marked villages such as Tune on visual approach charts due to noise sensitivity; see AIP/NOTAM for details.
Roskilde offers a professional yet relaxed environment, making it an excellent choice for non-commercial GA flights visiting Copenhagen or the surrounding region.
