Civil Airfield Old Warden (EGTH)

Old Warden (EGTH) offers PPR via its website, with GAR reference required for international arrivals. Slot booking is in place, and overhead join is preferred; radio service is generally unavailable. International arrivals are permitted with GAR, and operations including landing, departure, and refueling are possible outside museum opening hours. The grass runway is in good condition, though the apron is somewhat uneven.

Landing fee includes entry for one person to the Shuttleworth Collection and Swiss Gardens. Example: landing fee about £15. Overnight accommodation is available at Shuttleworth House within walking distance; overnight parking about £10, and a double room at Shuttleworth House about £90. Accommodation includes free museum entry and a restaurant discount. A café is available on site, and a pub (Haze and Hounds) is 10 minutes on foot from Shuttleworth House.

100LL fuel is available by credit card at the pump, though some cards may not work on the first attempt; UL91 also available at a higher price. Parking is along the fence near the tower. Flight details are entered in a logbook behind the fuel station. Staff are described as very friendly and helpful.
