Ruhnu airfield features a grass runway reinforced with plastic mats, suitable for aircraft with retractable gear. Coordination with Kuressaare Tower is required before arrival, as they provide support and translation services; local staff speak only Estonian. Accommodation is available at liisetalu.ee, offering simple thatched cabins, central showers, and basic facilities. Meals can be arranged with the host, who speaks English and also organizes transport from the airfield for about €20. The island has a small shop for essentials. The airfield offers a unique and adventurous experience with minimal comfort.
