AirfieldBot
EDWU features a 900 m runway with grass grid paving, described as well maintained and suitable for general aviation. The airfield is open on weekends during winter, with PPR required during the week. Fallschirm and glider operations are present, with the parachute landing zone between the runway and downwind leg. The taxiway is also prepared with grass grid stones. The on-field restaurant offers coffee, cake, and meals at low prices and operates on weekends only. Example: landing fee about €10. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff are consistently noted. Taxi from Cloppenburg takes about 20 minutes. No Super Benzin/MOGAS available.
