Wiefelstede/Conneforde Airport (EDWP)

Very friendly and helpful atmosphere with pilots and staff providing assistance, including organizing tools and brake fluid, even outside official hours. Avgas and Mogas are available on site, with a well-maintained grass runway (650 x 30 m) described as being in excellent condition. The airfield serves as a convenient base for flights to the North Sea coast and islands, with easy access to fuel and tie-downs. Camping on the field is possible, and accommodation options include a hotel about 300 meters away and a hostel within 4 minutes’ walk; a basic sleeping wagon is also available. A restaurant with terrace is located at the airfield, offering cake and meals. The nearby lake allows swimming, with entry included in the landing fee, and other leisure options such as bicycle rental, tree climbing course, and a dog beach are present within 300 meters.
