Civil Airfield Dierdorf Wienau (EDRW) PPR

PPR is required and typically granted without difficulty. The airfield features a 580 m long, 10 m wide asphalt runway (25/07), which is described as unusually narrow and can be challenging, especially when approaching runway 25 due to a nearby forest and rising terrain. The site is situated in scenic surroundings but has limited tourist attractions and poor transport connections.

A maintenance facility for ultralight aircraft operates on the field and receives positive feedback for helpfulness. Hangar space is sometimes offered proactively, and support with repairs has been noted. The former on-field restaurant no longer exists, and the club facilities are in poor condition. Overnight stays are possible either in the guesthouse or by camping on the grass, though current availability of these options is unclear.
