Nice, friendly club airfield with MOGAS and AVGAS available. Runway 500 m, quite short but entirely straightforward to approach. Open on weekends, otherwise PPR. SIXT will deliver the rental car directly to the airport for an extra fee (station phone: +49 9931 8900776).

EDMW welcomes visitors with friendly, helpful club members and a good Italian restaurant on the field. The airfield operates with PPR required on weekdays, while it is open on weekends. The paved runway is approximately 500–600 meters long and generally straightforward to use, though performance calculations are important, especially in hot weather. Departures to the east (09) may encounter turbulence from nearby trees; departures to the west are unproblematic. The circuit is easy to identify due to the Donau river.
Fuel is available, though SuperPlus fuel is noted as expensive. Example: landing fee about €5. Car hire through SIXT can be arranged for delivery to the airfield for an extra charge; contact: +49 9931 8900776. Bicycles are available at the airfield.
Several bathing lakes are within 2–10 minutes’ walk, and the Elypso leisure pool is about 30 minutes on foot or 1 km away. Camping and family stays are possible on site. Facilities include hangar space that can be flexibly arranged in adverse weather.
The atmosphere is relaxed and accommodating, with a strong sense of community among pilots. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
