AirfieldBot
Small airfield near Diemelsee with friendly, helpful staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Approaches to runway 07 and departures from 25 involve terrain: final for 07 crosses a hill, and abflug 25 features a small hill, making both approaches notable. PPR is available in advance or can be arranged spontaneously by radio. The airfield is managed by an enthusiastic team and is club-operated.
A restaurant on site offers recommended food, including coffee, cake, and warm dishes; outdoor meals such as pea soup are occasionally available. Facilities include sanitary amenities and the option to camp on the field. Fuel is available. Bus service to Brilon departs relatively close to the airfield, providing reasonable public transport access.
