Grass airfield with a narrow concrete strip along the northern edge; the grass area is sufficient for landing, with long undulations but not bumpy, and the 6 m wide concrete section can shorten takeoff. Example: landing fee about €5. Friendly and helpful atmosphere. Good cycle path to Mühlhausen.
