The grass runway is described as improved and suitable for general aviation, though landings can be challenging due to surface undulations and unique approach profiles, especially on runway 27. Current NOTAMs may specify landing on 09 and takeoff on 27. The airfield is easy to find, located conveniently for access to Berlin and Potsdam.
