Civil Airfield Eisenhuettenstadt (EDAE)

The airfield features a modern, well-maintained terminal building with clean facilities, a bistro serving meals and drinks (including Soljanka and cake), and a terrace overlooking the runway and surrounding nature. The paved runway and taxiways are consistently described as being in excellent condition.

Landing fees are generally considered moderate. Example: landing fee about €40. Parking is typically free outdoors; hangar space is available for a fee. Fuel is available on site, though Avgas payment may require cash. A courtesy car (often an older VW Polo) is sometimes available for trips into town or to nearby attractions, subject to availability.
