PPR is required and typically straightforward, with radio communication possible in English depending on the controller. The asphalt runway is functional but somewhat aged, and the airfield is suitable for short runway training. A short registration process for arrivals and departures is completed on-site via computer.

Landing fees are generally low. Example: landing fee about €10. Parking is available at about €10 per day, €50 per week, or €150 per month. Subscription landing fees are available at about €130 for six months or €250 per year.

The airport restaurant's availability varies; it has been closed at times and described as simple but pleasant when open. A computer is available for weather checks and flight planning. Avgas has been available.

Mons is accessible by taxi (about €30) or by train after a 25-minute walk to the station, with the train fare to Mons around €3. A private taxi can be arranged via +32 495 743 208.
