Cerfontaine Airport (EBCF)

Small airfield in southwest Belgium surrounded by forests and lakes, officially PPR but this is not always enforced in practice. French is generally required for communication by phone and radio. Two parallel grass runways (12/30), with the southern, shorter runway preferred; both have a significant slope on the first half when landing or departing on 30. Parachuting activity occurs on weekends. The grass runway is in good condition and buildings appear modern. A restaurant is available. No landing fee for visitors. Avgas is available but considered expensive for external users. Landings and departures must be registered in a computer system at the tower.
