International Airport Chisinau (LUKK) IFR

Chisinau International Airport (LUKK) requires handling for general aviation flights. Handling agents such as Jetz Handling (www.jetzhandling.com, ops@jetzhandling.com) are available and provide AVGAS100LL from drums, with professional refueling and efficient escort through the airport. Example: total handling, landing, and parking fees for five days about €100. Another agent, Aeroport Handling (charter@handling.md), has charged about €50 for handling; higher fees have been quoted by other agents. A General Declaration form is required on the apron.

On arrival, expect vectors over the city for ILS approach to RWY 26; caution is needed as RWY 26 can be confused with RWY 27, which may be out of service and used as a taxiway. Filing a flight plan at least two hours in advance is required, and notification to the airport by email (ops@airport.md and fpm@airport.md) with operator and aircraft details is necessary; additional aircraft documents may be requested. Start-up clearance is required even for VFR flights.
