Civil Airfield Yverdon Les Bains (LSGY)

Yverdon (LSGY) offers both an 872 m asphalt runway and a 725 m grass runway, situated in a wide, flat valley that makes approaches straightforward. PPR is required but is granted easily via a bilingual telephone recording. The airfield is generally friendly and welcoming, with staff and pilots speaking German and English. All common fuel types (100LL, 91UL, Jet-A1) are available at a self-service terminal at all times. Parking on grass may be restricted; asphalt parking is limited but manageable with assistance from local pilots.

A restaurant is available on site, though somewhat dated. The nearest public transport stop is at least a 15-minute walk away; Uber may be available but options are very limited. Example: landing fee about CHF 30; overnight parking about CHF 10.
