Procedures are good and very fast. Use Romanian Airport Services for handling (the other one is much more expensive); they are a bit hard to reach: timisoara@handling.ro, +40740836942, but very friendly and efficient. Total cost with TBM for 6 h and crew only 204.70 €. Basic handling 120, landing 17, parking 2 (COVID special rate, otherwise more expensive), navigation 58 (IFR), disbursement 7.7. If you don’t park on the south side of the apron (normally only A320/B737 there), there is an additional bus transfer. AVGAS not available.

Handling by Romanian Airport Services is professional and friendly, with efficient communication by phone. Fees vary significantly depending on the handler; Romanian Airport Services is generally much less expensive than alternatives. Example: all-inclusive fee about €70 for 24 hours including parking. Another example: basic handling €120, landing €20, parking €10, navigation €60, disbursement €10. Using other handlers can result in much higher costs, sometimes exceeding €700. The landing fee typically includes parking and handling.
No Avgas is available; Jet A1 is present but must be ordered 24 hours in advance. The runway is long, wide, and in good condition, with a slight elevation change. No airport charts are provided on site; pilots must be prepared to follow tower instructions precisely. Handling is mandatory for all arrivals—advance confirmation of costs is strongly advised.
