International Airport Constanta/Mihail Kogălniceanu (LRCK) IFR

Handling is mandatory. Staff are friendly. Both airline and military traffic operate; GA may need to give way to military aircraft. English radio communication is professional, and operations in controlled airspace are straightforward. Customs is available but somewhat bureaucratic.

No Avgas is available at LRCK; Avgas may be found at Tuzla (LRTZ), but not always, and Tuzla does not offer customs. Jet fuel is available and fueling is quick. Car rental is available on the field, but advance booking is necessary; the agent waits up to one hour for pickup, so specify arrival time carefully.

Hotels are plentiful in Mamaia near Constanta, with simple but clean rooms and sea views reported. The city center can be explored in about two hours. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
