Civil Airfield Ried Kirchheim (LOLK)

LOLK features a 740 m asphalt runway and is generally considered easy to use, though the airfield can be difficult to spot in the hilly landscape. The final approach to runway 30 passes directly over buildings, which may encourage a high approach; in the opposite direction, several noise-sensitive areas require attention. The circuit pattern is described as somewhat challenging due to noise abatement procedures. The airfield is typically staffed from 10:00 local time during summer weekdays.

The on-field restaurant is well regarded for quality and value but may be closed during periods such as summer holidays. Hangar parking is available at about €5 per night. Fuel (including mogas) is available with self-service and friendly assistance. Example: landing fee about €20.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, with efficient handling and professional radio service. Rental cars are available. Short walking distances provide access to nearby lakes such as Attersee, Traunsee, and Mondsee.
