Wolfsberg Airport (LOKW)

Wolfsberg (LOKW) features a well-maintained grass runway of approximately 740 meters, situated in a scenic location near the motorway. The approach to runway 19 requires flying over a large hangar, which is notable but manageable. Both Avgas and Mogas are available, though landing and fuel are not particularly cheap. Example: landing fee about €10. The airfield is generally uncomplicated for arrivals and departures, with PPR required on weekdays but easily arranged by phone and no surcharge reported. Customs and police are available on request.
