Fürstenfeld Airport (LOGF)

LOGF features a 950 m asphalt runway. Operations are generally straightforward and friendly, with uncomplicated handling and supportive staff. PPR is required outside standard operating hours, which are weekends and public holidays from 8:00 LT until ECET; at other times or in marginal weather, PPR is available by phone at +43-3382-52666. The circuit entry is via reporting points, and parachute drop activity may occur. Approaches can be challenging during strong north or northeast winds due to turbulence from adjacent woods.

Landing fees vary: Example: landing fee about €30. No parking fee is reported. Several taxi companies serve the area, and Fürstenfeld town center is accessible on foot in about 30–35 minutes. No restaurant is available on the field, but coffee and snacks may be offered.

The airfield is well maintained, though the runway surface condition may vary. The environment is relaxed and suitable for a stopover or visit to the local thermal baths and scenic surroundings. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
