Grass runways are in good condition, with one described as very wide and another as nearly as smooth as asphalt. Radio communication is generally available in English, but controllers may not always speak English fluently; 8.33 kHz spacing is used. The airfield can be busy during summer and may have parachuting activity, so circuit joining by observation may be necessary. Example: landing fee about €5. A restaurant on the field offers good food at reasonable prices, with some staff speaking a little German; payment in euros is possible. A swimming pool is present on site. Runways are sufficiently long but may be uneven, which could be unsuitable for some aircraft with retractable gear. Weekend arrivals require PPR 48 hours in advance for customs/immigration clearance.
