The aerodrome is located south of Cheb / Eger and north of the lake. Landing fees are on a voluntary basis. Avgas 2,80 €/l. Coffee available in the clubhouse. Taxi to town 10 €. You can easily spend a few hours in Eger. The taxiway runs along the edge of the concrete runway. Landing on grass (south of the concrete runway) is also possible. Departures are also possible outside the published hours.

Cheb (LKCB) offers a friendly and welcoming environment with no flight plan requirement and uncomplicated arrivals. Landing is on grass; the concrete runway exists but has poor surface condition and is not recommended for landing. The approach to RWY05 is tight, with a clear noise abatement requirement to avoid overflying houses south of the field. Landing fees are voluntary, with several examples suggesting about €10. Taxi rides to the city cost about €5–€10, and the city center is approximately 3 km away; walking or using a scooter takes around 20 minutes. The airfield features a modern clubhouse, and staff are described as very helpful, speaking both English and German. Overnight parking is available by moving aircraft to hangars behind the fence. No fuel is normally available. For arrivals outside operational hours or for further information, contact Luděk Matějíček (phone: 00420776078589) or visit www.letistecheb.cz. Cheb is considered an attractive destination with easy access to local restaurants and sights, and procedures may vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
