PPR is mandatory and must be arranged through a handling agent, with procedures described as complex and involving multiple emails and phone calls. Both landing and departure slots must be booked. Day parking is permitted, but overnight parking is generally refused or strictly limited to 18:00–09:00 local time. Self-maneuvering parking is not available; push-back service is required and incurs additional cost. Handling is compulsory for all GA traffic.
Fees for landing and handling are high, with a typical example for a short stay under 2 tonnes at about €520. A single example for a training flight with written confirmation shows about €40 for landing, handling, and overnight parking, but this appears to be an exception. Another example lists about €220 for landing, handling, and one night of parking.
Fuel service is available, with Avgas reported at the field, but availability may vary; advance confirmation is advised. Refueling can be slow at times.
Expect professional tower and ground staff. The approach offers scenic views over Naples, Vesuvius, and the bay.
