Rimini / Miramare Airport (LIPR)

PPR is required for arrivals. IFR and VFR operations are possible, with standard arrivals and departures (including DME arc) commonly used; visual approaches may be accepted on request. Handling is mandatory, with crew transport between aircraft and terminal typically provided. AVGAS is not available at Rimini; nearby alternatives for refueling include LIKO or Forli LIPK. Jet A1 is available but subject to a surcharge for small quantities. Parking is available, and stays of several days are possible with prior arrangement. The airport can feel quiet or deserted at times, but procedures run smoothly and ATC is professional and competent. Some staff speak only Italian; security personnel may be unfriendly.

Ground transport options include taxis (with high fares to San Marino) and a bus line from the terminal to Rimini main station (about 25 minutes). A restaurant is located in the terminal. Hotels are within approximately 2.5 km walking distance, and car hire is available on site.
