Runway and apron are in good condition, with some loose gravel on the apron but generally satisfactory. No landing or parking fees. Example: taxi to Carpi about €25. Taxis may not always be available for return trips from Carpi, so advance booking is advisable. The airfield is operated by a club with very friendly and helpful staff; assistance with accommodation and local transport is sometimes offered by members. Payment for fuel is possible by card in the office. Both Avgas and Mogas are available, with fueling support provided when needed. Restaurant Momento is recommended, though availability varies; other nearby dining options exist, and the Hotel Touring is described as affordable. Accommodation options include B&B La Francesa, with local transport sometimes arranged by airfield contacts. The airfield is located about 5 km from Carpi and 25 km from Modena; taxi times to Correggio are around 15 minutes, to Carpi about 10–15 minutes, and to Modena about 40 minutes.

Operations are straightforward: circuit and runway selection are flexible when traffic is low, but see AIP/NOTAM for procedures. During lunch breaks (midday siesta), staff may be absent but arrivals and departures remain possible using blind calls on the radio; firefighting services may not be present during these times. The area can be prone to fog from late October through March, which may affect availability.
